We all know that feeling..!

For the second year in a row, IDFA has invited a filmmaker to reflect on our festival to design our IDFA 2023 festival campaign. This edition kicks off the initial festival warm up with the emotive visuals by artist Eliane Esther Bots—inviting audiences to experience joy, love, rage, conflict and more. The campaign for the 36th edition of IDFA and has been launched in an evocative posters and festival trailers shown in cinemas across Amsterdam.

An ode to diversity 

For the IDFA 2023 campaign, a series of animations, archival footage, and voice recordings were developed to underline the power of film and diversity of human encounters during IDFA.

From Wednesday, November 8 to Sunday, November 19, IDFA will host the world’s largest documentary film festival for the 36th time. Both the general audience and film professionals can immerse themselves 12 days in a diverse program with the latest films, interactive projects, an exhibition, performances, events, parties and workshops.
